I haven't owned an Interceptor for over 15 years! Makes sense because less than 200 were made and my white one had a factory Kahler. This one dates from May/June 1984 and is in excellent condition with a few scuffs, some tiny headstock chips and a little bit of edge wear along the bass side. White is a hard color to find! Electronics are 100% original and the preamp is the same as the L-2000 model but the pickups are mini-humbuckers each with (16) adjustable pole pieces. These pickups have a more urgent, gutsier tone and this bass dares to venture into Spector territory while still being true to its Leo roots. The alder body has a unique shape, almost Daion-esque with its slightly offset symmetry and perfect balance. The wide maple neck has a rosewood fretboard with dot inlays. This one features the crinkle black hardware that G&L used for just a few years in the mid-80's. It weighs just 9 1/2 lbs and comes in the original case which is in fine shape.
